"Interest in and questions about place, time, and our relationship with technology and our ecosystem continue to propel me forward.
The material is the earth itself, transformed by hand and heat.

A new larger kiln makes possible an increase in scale. A depleting clay pile focuses on the finiteness of for resources.

Life appears to have speeded up. I struggle to slow down."
-Tim Rowan

Describing Tim Rowan's sculptural forms recalls a memory that lies hidden just beyond the edge of conscious thought. These shapes are known to us, yet they exist at the periphery--not quite seen, yet creating a framework within which we live.
-Sharbani Das Gupta, Ceramic and Visual Artist
