Come enjoy this opportunity to create your own hana-kanade arrangement with Grand Master Ingrid Luders. Hana-kanade is a three dimensional arrangement that expresses the beauty of mutually crossing principal stems that move inwardly from their insertion points. The combination is chosen to express the beauty of color, form and season. The positioning of three main stems are chosen to express the beauty of their crossing. The fillers are added at their base. Foliage and flowers are added to provide a green base and a color providing a sense of stability. Plant materials will be provided. Please bring round big suiban container, or three similarly sized small containers with wide opening, three kenzans, ikebana shears, a trash bag, a watering can, a small towel to clean your space.
