A book talk with Min Jin Lee about her novel Pachinko, a finalist for the 2017 National Book Award in Fiction, “chronicles four generations of an ethnic Korean family, first in Japanese-occupied Korea in the early 20th century, then in Japan itself from the years before World War II to the late 1980s”—New York Times. Amy Carleton, lecturer in MIT's Comparative Media Studies division, will join the talk as a discussant.
