Fog Sculpture viewing at Back Bay Fens

Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 12 - 1PM

This month we venture out to enjoy our Brown Bag Lunch in historic Back Bay Fens. The Emerald Necklace Conservancy has partnered with world-renowned fog sculptor: Fujiko Nakaya, to create a stunning installation of art through the medium of pure water, designed fog-scapes. We think it best to enjoy this inspired exhibit - a special Japanese artist's contribution to Boston - with all of our Japan Society friends.

To join us at the Back Bay Fens, take the Green Line to the Museum of Fine Arts Station and walk around to the back toward the Fens along Museum Rd.. Cross into Back Bay Fens at the Fenway crosswalk. Once you cross the footbridge at the Muddy River, head left and you will find the Fog x FLO installation. A group us will be waiting for the 12:30pm appearance. Appearances are two minutes long, running all day on the hour and half-hour.

Please note that the we often take pictures at events for our records and sometimes for use in public media such as Facebook and blog posts. Registering for an event generally signifies acknowledgment that your likeness may be used in these ways. If you are not comfortable with this, please let us know and we can accommodate you.
