ONE HEART FOR JAPAN

Sunday, March 27th from 2-4pm
 
Showa Boston, The Japan Society of Boston and The British School of Boston
invite you to join us as we come together to create
ONE HEART to support our friends in Japan.


At Showa Boston
420 Pond Street, Boston

 Part 1: Supporting the victims
2-3 pm, appropriate for all ages
 

•    Make an origami crane with Showa Boston and British school students. 

•    Our goal is to make 1,000 cranes, a Japanese tradition for healing.

•    Write your personal message in a book which will go to Japan.
 

Part 2:  Remembering the victims
3-4 pm, more appropriate for adults


•    Tea Master, Mr. Alan Palmer will dedicate a special koi-cha tea ceremony to victims of the earthquake and tsunami.

•     Assistant Principal Oboe player of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Keisuke Wakao, will perform a dedication piece.

Throughout the event we will be collecting donations on behalf of the

 
JAPANESE DISASTER RELIEF FUND-BOSTON.
