New Hampshire Institute of Art will be welcoming Pucker Gallery artists Ken Matsuzaki and Randy Johnston to lead a workshop loading and firing NHIA's wood fired kiln. This is the perfect opportunity to work closely with international leaders in the field of wood firing to gain a deeper understanding of the process.
Over two-weeks, participants will prepare, load, fire, and unload their work in NHIA's anagama-style wood kiln. Mr. Matsuzaki and Mr. Johnston will guide the process, sharing strategies and considerations at all stages. Each artist will offer demonstration workshops and slide lectures during the cooling cycle of the kiln.
To register, please contact the NHIA Community Education Division CERegistration@nhia.edu or (603) 836-2564.
Space is limited; registration is first come, first served.
