Event Summary 
Investment decisions at GPIF have increasing ramifications throughout the global economy. Join us to learn directly from Mr. Masahiro Mori, chief representative for GPIF in America and Director of JETRO, New York, about GPIF's considerations and priorities in their asset allocation process. Mr. Mori will address GPIF's leadership in ESG and the data they are watching to guide their investments. 

More about Masahiro Mori 
As Director of JETRO, NY, Masahiro Mori is responsible for research on the investment  environment by institutional investors as well as investment products in the US. Also, he is in charge of following the trend of public pension fund management and pension system reform.  Previously, he served as Director for Social Security Policy Planning in the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW). He also worked as Director General of Health and Welfare Department in Okayama City Government in 2013 and First Secretary at Embassy of Japan (USA) in 2005-2008. He was a visiting researcher at Employee Benefit Research Institute (USA) in 1997. Masahiro earned a BA in Law at Keio University and an MBA at Johns Hopkins University.
